Pipe Welder This classification consists of doing all-position pipe welding. Must be able to pass the Hartford or American Bureau of Shipping, Navy and Coast Guard tests, First Class Hull and pipe test. Should have the ability to cut or gouge by using arc air welding equipment. Requires the ability to work from welding symbols, sketches, detailed instructions and symbols on blueprints.
